How does the phrase go: “terrible things come in threes”?
ANDY.ANDY AND ANDY!!
@Number Three Today’s strip is not even remotely funny , Just our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , stating the improbable , it’s always Flo that does the work in their house , my avatar is of a chicken looking from our monitor and stating the obvious , how was your day ? ours should be busy but not hectic I hope , take care and win a big Jackpot at Bingo , and thanks for caring pal
“And don’t get me started on her complaining Jack.”
Work, the curse of the drinking class!
Work! Heaven may not help Andy. But a drink certainly will.
NO WAY did he DO anything around the house!!! Dreamed it maybe BUT DOING IT?? Not a chance.
I don’t get it
I cannot imagine Andy actually DOING any of those things he is getting nagged about. Doesn’t Flo understand a lost cause?
That four letter word rears its ugly head.
Listening to a nag is thirsty work!
Work – that other nasty 4-letter word that ends in a K.
Sounds like Flo needs a drink. Not you, Andy!
Don’t really want to talk about my day to be honest.
Ignore the trolls and take care, pal.
Apparently, the joke is that Andy doesn’t like to work. So what else is new?
I have been reading Andy Capp for 50 years, or more, it has made me, at times, laugh out loud, he and Flo are great CARTOON characters,,, i don’t think Afficionado gets that it’s not real life.
He didn’t do the work; he’s just worn out from the nagging. It would be easier on him if he would just do some of the work, reducing her to-nag-about list.
