@Number Three Even if it is a continuation of yesterday’s , today’s strip Is funny , our Hero Mr Andrew Capp , changed his mind about keeping Chalkie’s old smart phone because he can be traced by Flo :o( right? , my avatar is of our house in the middle of our street , in the good old days you would have posted me a link to the song , how was your day? our day should be calm I hope and not manic like yesterday’s because we had to go to a lawyer to redeem our ground rent and acceived very
little , we still have to go again another day and meet two lawyers and pay tens of thousands of euro , have fun and thanks for caring pal.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a strip continued to the next day like this. But I Mahoney et al had to get rid of the phone, since Andy Capp couldn’t be carrying one around all the time.
Now, let’s weigh your options here. Don’t give Flo the number (assuming you can figure it out yourself) and now you have a convenient way to contact your bookie.
Naw, I just don’t see Andy as a cellphone kinda guy. He’d be insulted on how smart they are.
In the days before cell phones, because of work, I was chained to a pager. I loathed the thing! No matter where I was, I could be tracked down because of that damned little black box.

’twas fun while it lasted (while I have been to England back in 2012, are those iconic red phone booths STILL used these days?)

He wouldn’t worry about Flo tracking him if he knew the real monthly phone cost in beers. Bang, phone fell down sewer.

A dip in the canal would probably have seen it off.

The number of places he might be is pretty limited anyway.

My dad doesn’t carry a cell phone. That way the boss can’t call him into work on his day off!

Probably just as well. It likely would have ended up at the bottom of the canal.

I have a friend who purposely misplaces his phone when we’re drinking so his wife calls me and I hand him the phone.
