The oops, was for the card accidentally falling out of Andy.s sleeve and causing the whole ruckus in the first place. Andy wasn’t cheating, he was just keeping the Ace of Hearts warm.
With the tendency of today’s comic strips to have crossovers from other strips (especially “Pearls” and “Lio”, although I hear that “Dick Tracy” is also doing it), I half expected the constable to ask “Here, here, here, who did all this?” And the “Not Me” little gremlin from “Family Circus” to answer for Andy! Speaking of crossovers, I wonder if anybody could find a few examples of that in the legendary “Sam’s Strip” (the comic about comics). I got the complete collection of them (okay, it ran less than two years…….) in a book for Christmas. All kinds of old comics characters (and contemporary comics characters of the early 60’s, when it ran) would pop up in there. (Of course, I say all this at the risk of angering and/or confusing Prof Danglais…..)

To be honest, I only have things to say when people reply to me whether it’s a question being asked or just making conversation like what Afficionado does and then I find it easier to talk about things when I reply back to them. I got that the time was different than their usual schedule, but completely assumed it would be Saturday, as has always been. I took a nap Friday night about 10:30 and figured I’d be up for Rollover. I got up almost 11:30 and then went back to bed. -Saturday Joe and me got to the place 10 minutes ahead and walked behind the coffee shop to an empty lawn. Oh well…. We went back home and I had stuff to do, so no prob. I loaded my radiator and fuel pump work shots at Flickr today and have to finish captioning before I link it. It was fabulous out today. Mostly cloudy and not hot. I changed the gear case oils this evening and ran into dark before I was finished. Will do cleanup tomorrow. Mind your Monday.

@Linda Dean-@ Gweedo… I don’t hate Moon Maid, per se, what I hate is the baggage she brings to DT, mainly, the whole DT Moon era, something that never should have been part of DT in the first place.
With all the belly achin’ you did on that, it was hard to tell. The best I can recall is being somewhat fascinated by the Moon era when it was happening but at the time I think I preferred the “regular” cops and robber stuff and enjoyed the cartoons with Go Go Gomez, et al, but was disappointed in the barely present top cop. It was like as if they were having to pay a premium for Tracy’s presence in the cartoon and so didn’t use him much. -As for the present; I love what Staton and Curtis have done with the Moon era and pretty much roll with the sometimes goofy crossovers.-I read the talk, even if I can’t…

Before the latest change the site told me I would have to buy a membership to view my earlier, more than 200 shots. I deleted some stuff to cut the crowding. It has lately given 1 Terabyte of storage. I don’t do the extra step of J-pegging before uploading now. After I do this I will do some more captioning over there. Joe and I still have to finish the window in the bathroom. We have both been busy elsewise. It’s been like a so called normal winter-spring season this year; that means stuff started later than it might have. See ya, Tuesday.
