Crispy Crowns, huh? That’s a new one on me. Must be something local to a region.

I can’t find Crispy Crowns here. Just tots, and those are inferior to Crowns.

I’m with Dan on this one and he is a prince to bring Amanda the cake. Velveeta is the absolute lower depths of cheese exceeded in awfulness only by that abomination known as individually wrapped slices of processed cheese food. We ate a lot of both as kids but we did not know then the delights of real cheese. And apparently mixed with canned pasta and the entire mess glopped over tater tots? Or my first thought was some kind of dry cereal? I think my face right now looks just like Dan in panel one.

I’ve eaten at the Courthouse Cafe twice. Good food!

Twists and turns in just 4 panels… cake probably tops it all though for a happy ending. I could probably eat Velveeta on Crispy Crowns, but not too sure about the Spaghetti-O’s – did feed them to my kid years ago, by his request. I’ve always thought they were specially designed for the young. Eating cake in an ice cream shirt. Good job Dan for cake, good job Amanda for this comic!

So, just throwing this out there… For those who can’t find Crispy Crowns and miss them, maybe get a bag of regular tots, cook them about 80% of the way, then smash them, and pan fry. I’ve never done it, but it should work. Probably not for hot dish topping, though. :)

Spaghetti O Velveeta sounds disgusting.
