This is not humor, in my opinion. It is just gibberish.
This is not a story, in my opinion…. just an occasional glimmer of something happening. Sigh.
I am not opposed to NEW…. New Nancy is wonderful for instance. This “new” is just unfunny nothingness. Sigh.
Is the actual “joke” that he put the cube in his mouth as opposed to rebooting it?!? If that is the “joke” I am utterly flummoxed…. Joey does not do such “humor” in her other work as far as a I can tell…. in her other stuff there is typically a point or cohesiveness to the joke. If I were to do the following substitution:
“Did you try…”
“Putting the cube in my hair and dancing a sailor jig? YES!”
“I was going to say “rebooting it,” but ok."
The “joke” is still the same…. pointless, nonsensical, unfunny statement as before, just different nonsense. To me, this is getting to the point where it appears purposeful to make the dialog useless and unfunny. I have no idea why a comic author would choose this.
