Where ARE the electric sugar donut cars? I’d buy one.

I had a friend from Egypt do I learned a few words. She taught mr Habibi, so right off it was easy to know the word Ali said must mean my ‘little female loved one’. I like it already.

I;m going to give it lots of chances and not fuss about what they might be wearing on their heads. Maybe a kindly turk gave him the hat when his head was cold. I’ll buy that. Rose

Wonder what happened to Mrs. Ali? Definitely adding this one to my line-up.

Looks good, hopefully you will be able to explain phrases and customs that we in other societies are not familiar with. Definitely adding to my queue.

Of course he’d wear a fez. Fezes are cool. (I’m not really sure that’s a fez, though.)

I just checked. If that’s a fez, then he’s a SHRINER!! And they do great parades (and hospitals). so this promises to be a strip with excellent parts…

The Fez has it’s origins in Morocco. You will only see people from older generations wearing them now. Good luck with the strip.

Groucho Marx wore a fez in “Night in Casablanca” and other occasions. So there is some precedent in humor.

Wonderful to see a strip about an immigrant family. My prayer is that the Trolls never find this strip and its comment section.
