If a DA thinks they have evidence sufficient to convict someone of a crime, they should file an indictment & let a jury of the accused’s peers decide. DAs rarely indict politicians, unless they think they have a very strong case.
Yes. Let’s just forget that they have evidence he broke the law. One law applying to all people equally. THAT is what America is supposed to be about. EVERYONE that paid off a prostitute while representing that payoff check as attorney fees and pass it off as a campaign donation, should face the same criminal charges. They should face a jury of their peers and, if guilty, be convicted and serve their sentence.
Why is this so HARD for the party of “law and order”.
This country is on very dangerous ground. Arresting a presidential candidate for incorrectly paying off an indelicate relationship from years ago is small potatoes for wrecking our electoral system. Not one of us is safe when the law looks for crimes to fit prosecutions.
It is obvious that it’s political prosecution of opposition to the ruling regime.
Oh, yes! Poor innocent Donald is being persecuted. /s It appears that Trump broke the law (many times) and it needs looking into. If you’d done ONE of the things your orange hero has done, you’d have been in jail long since, Mr. Goodwyn.
That’s rich, coming from the party that spends endless hours pursuing political persecution of anybody or anything that stands in the way of a Republican dictatorship.
“Rally round the mob boss” toon today we see. Untouchable while sitting in office, able to dole out pardons like paper towels to keep the goons tight lipped. Not so much anymore, so don’t call it political, his time has come finally.
It wasn’t Democratic politics that induced Trump to try to pay off Stormy Daniels. It wasn’t Democratic politics that induced Trump to whip up a crowd of insurrectionists and wannabe fascist warriors to break into the US Capitol and terrorize Congress and Capitol police; it wasn’t Democratic politics that induced Trump to try to overturn the 2020 election by strong-arming and pleading with Georgia election officials to “find” him 11,780 more votes; and it wasn’t Democratic politics that induced Trump to drag boxes full of classified documents to Mar-a-Lago the day he moved out of the White House. You’d have to be pretty darn stupid to believe otherwise.

Expect all the folks on the left to start strutting around with their law and order mantra. But when out in the liberal run city, watch your back.

So politicians should be immune from prosecution for crimes.
Gee, Q-pubs sure have changed their tune since the Clintons moved on out of politics, now haven’t they?

Republicans can call it anything they wish, but Trump in the “find out” phase of his actions. And he is taking every single supporter down with him.

Politicians are above the law? What’s Al trying to say here?

Don’t worry Al – Rich Man Justice is limited to a small fine unless of course like Bernie Madoff, the rich man ripped off other rich men.

Donald trump was arrested today in New York City.
To avoid the protestors out front,FBI agents took him to the roof of Trump Tower and dropped him down into a fireman’s net.
As per Trump’s own instructions on Long Island, police made sure he bumped his head on the squad car as he was being shoved into it.
Trump demanded to see his lawyer,to which Bragg replied—-“Sure.There’s Guiliani, sitting right next to you!”

Do Al Goodwyn, Franklin Graham, and Melania Trump approve of the Insurrectionist-in-Chief’s ‘interaction’ with Stormy?

It would have been playing politics if trump hadn’t been charged. After all, he is not a King.
