Goodwyn and the other Trump Disciples have NO concept of investment, if it is done for the benefit of the American people.

it would be nice if the rich had any empathy just remember that the American eagle needs a right wing as well as a left one to fly

An illustration of the GOP’s belief that when Democrats are in power, spending money is wrong. They don’t give us any reasons, because it is self evident and obvious to everyone they cater to.

PS: the economy isn’t ticking along like we all wish, but it’s not hospitalized either.

GDP growing at healthy rates, despite major supply chain problems particularly for tech-basked industries. Unemployment at historically low levels. Not a perfect economy, but one at risk of overheating, then stalling. But certainly not one on life support, which is what Goodwyn drew here. Willful stupidity or casual dishonesty?

After all, the money the government has came from the taxpayers anyway. The point of government is to do things for the good of the people.

in the Alternate universe, giveaways and tax cuts to bilionaires and corporations to the tune of $8T is good spending, and investing in our country to address decades of neglect and the need to catch up top the rest of the world is wasteful. Lewis Carroll would be proud.

Taxes are the cost of Government. Al, if you want to live in a place without Government move to Iraq. I have been there, it is a right wing fantasy land. Bring your gun you will need it.

America desperately needs this bill to fix ancient grids, crumbling bridges and roads, highways! aid it were left to the GOP, they would definitely take us back a century and living in the 1900’s! They want all their bank accounts to increase while the citizens struggle and starve! Why can’t their sheep see this? ignorance is bliss!

Maybe one day Al and the other Alt-Reich cartoonists will actually learn what they’re talking about before drawing their strips but no one’s holding their breath.

We know “Trickle Up” theory works. Look at all the billionaires flying into space on the backs of the people that got them there. Time to structure a bill benefiting the working class for a change.

While many make sky-is-falling gestures on national TV about the costs of doing anything that isn’t “defense”-related, very few people are paying attention to the amount of tax dollars being wasted during the pandemic. Forgetting about how the SBA under the Dotard gave away millions without proper vetting….

In Florida, where masking up or getting the vaccine a punishable offense, they have multiple places you can go to get Regeneron, or monoclonal antibody treatment. A vaccine costs around $20. One treatment of Regeneron is $2100. Which should be more available? What was that about an ounce of prevention?

And beyond that: there will be millions of unpaid and uncollectable hospital bills totaling billions of dollars, mostly run up by people who refuse to act like responsible citizens.

All of this is unnecessary spending, and all anyone wants to talk about is making sure necessary spending is never done.

    Nucking Futs.

“HAMMER TIME!” Well the leftists have never hesitated to destroy a thing to remake it into into their own version. The Democrats have a long history of this going back to the Civil War where they were willing to destroy the USA in order to rebuild it into a slaver nation. When they lost, they created the KKK in order to continue their destruction, murder and intimidation to further their own ends. They’ve continuously criticized capitalism in favor of a more socialist, Marxist system and if they have to destroy our economy to bring it about they’ll do so in a heartbeat regardless of the death and suffering it will bring to hundreds of millions Americans. Destruction, it’s what the Democrats do. The low and middle class are the ones who will and are now suffering with the inflation rate causing the price of basic goods to skyrocket. It’s not the rich and super rich that will devastated by the Dems and Biden’s plans, it’s the poor guy and gal living from paycheck to paycheck that will have to tighten their belts a notch, never the rich and not the politicians.
