I never worked in food service, but I can tell you horror stories from my first retail job in HS. Forty years ago. Sears. TV/Stereo Dept. Christmas. Do the math.
Considering what we have seen about Pop’s medical condition, with this job they couldn’t possibly afford his medications (and food and shelter). Good luck!
