I know the feeling—I’m in my 70s and it was just Christmas last month I think!

I don’t wait for Christmas. I give — or don’t give — presents and love all year long.

But it’s summertime and the living is easy. :)

There’s a psychological reason why time seems to go faster as you age. When you’re five years old, a year is 20% of your life to date. When you’re fifty, a year is only 2% of your life to date.

Exactly how it feels. I no longer ´can’t wait for summer,´ because I know it’ll be over before it’s here.

Back in “the old days” of 2018, when most of August was still summer vacation. Seriously, one school district in my area is restarting classes on August 8.
