As I commented yesterday, the 2017 and 2023 calendars are identical, so the Sunday reruns will always be on Sunday. But today’s April Fools strip reminds me it would also apply to most other events with fixed dates: Valentine’s, Independence Day, Christmas, etc. But what about those with wandering dates? I guess we’ll find out on Easter.
Just before Christmas 2016, I had major abdominal surgery. 2017 spent Jan. in rehab/nursing home. Had to carry around a suction machine, rhat sucked goop out through my navel…..until April 1. I was disappointed that my surgeon wouldn’t be there for the declaration, that the wound was healed, because, I had a phony jewel I’d wanted to stick in my navel…for April Fools Day.

I never liked the idea that any should ever intentionally betray trust and also laugh at one who trusted another.

So, it is April fools’ day every day in the US then?
