Grandma looks, listens, and learns.

Why does everyone pick on poor Agnes??

or maybe she’ll step on a rusty nail and lose a leg to gangrene…

But she lives in the one drop style.

With feet like hers that’s the least of her worries.

Hah, almost spilled my coffee on that one. Way to go Grandma!

Sounds like Grannie’s feet are in the same company as her truck.

Agnes might move to Vernon FL when she grows up.

The feet are only part of the problem.

Yeah, she might get those tooties caught in a grape press while trying to speed it up with her feet

I have had both a doctor and dermatologist say the cure for nail fungus can be far worse than living with the fungus.

There are actually a couple of layers of wisdom underlying Grandma’s answer, assuming that she can guide Agnes to them. The first is to learn some tact when speaking of someone’s physical ailments; the second is that there are more productive ways to spend your time than looking down the road to such a future.
