Cartoon physics at work again. If Wile E. Coyote can continue to live through what he does, (cue accordionist) these two can muster up enough strength to hammer open a magnet.
A mystery no more because they lost interest.
That if you break open a magnet, you get pieces!

It is no wonder Agnes knows so little about magnets when Tony does not know that magnet fragments are all little magnets and will stick together not scatter out.
