“Normal” has always been relative to one’s culture. When there was a single culture, a few networks, and truth was not just another commodity, it was easier to define sane.
I am not saying those were better times. It does mean we have to start teaching tolerance for change at an early age, if we don’t want young people becoming terminally depressed. Trying to “push the clock back” to the “good old days” is just crazy-making.
