The right say they want less government intrusion all the while inserting far right SCOTUS judges that says the state governments can take away a woman’s right to choose.

They want to give their Republican led legislations more power to impose their rules .

That sounds like a do as I say not as I do type of deal there .

Believe it or not, there IS a way to decide on the correct amount of government. The answer is in the Declaration, not in the Constitution: the purpose of government is to defend Rights. But this requires an understanding of the nature of Rights, which requires an entire philosophy which is virtually missing from our culture today. The Founding Fathers came so close, but their Lockean philosophy was only partially correct, and their thinking was often distracted by necessities such as defeating Great Britain, and they could not have imagined the influx of vile German philosophy in the 19th century — the same philosophies that gave the world Nazism and Communism.

Nowadays the Left and the Right knowingly favor the violation of Rights; they just don’t agree on whose Rights to violate and how. (I’ll be happy to address honest questions, but right now I have more comics to read.)

I am waiting to see the right’s “less government.” They certainly like less centralized government to a degree (or so they say). But who increases the central government’s size every chance they get (assuming the military counts as government)? Who now wants to have federal laws governing how you behave in the bedroom and what you do with your own body? That sounds like big government to me. Of course, what they mean by big government is regulations on corporations — and yeah, the left does pursue more of those. But then, those pesky regulations are for the health and welfare the People of the United States, and to the right, they don’t actually matter.

Schwadron must lean right. My experience is that the “Right” want a lot of government, just different from the “Left.”

Go for more liberty, which always means less government intrusion in our lives. Therefore, go right…..

About right. The Left wants to control ALL ASPECTS of our daily lives. That is why they are so closely associating themselves with Socialism.

This comic presents a false equivalency. Both Partys want government big enough to affect everyone’s lives. Democrats want to improve everyone’s quality of life based on democratic principles. Republicans want to control everyone’s lives based on white male supremacy principles.

More government is good IF AND ONLY IF waste I reduced if not eliminated, a activities are beneficial and efficient and the government listens to the reasoned and reasonable debate of their employers, the public instead of going after their blinkered, often self aggrandisement agendas and giving the obliviot shouters and screamers whatever they want regardless of consequences
