I know a guy that needed a scale for each foot or use the loading dock scale to find his weight.
Eat a little bit less. Eschew sweets and cut your carbs. Exercise just a little bit more. Nothing uncomfortable, nothing drastic, but after a few months cut some more and walk a bit more. Slow and steady.

Just need to have confidence – like my Aunt who was sure she had downloaded more hard drive space from the Internet…
