When I have had the flue all I could do is toss and turn in bed. Didn’t feel up to doing anything. And food lost its taste too.

I don’t know if anyone else will read this thread tonight, but I’m nervous, guys. Even though my retirement from 23 years of Army isn’t until May 1st…that’ll be the first day I’m officially a civilian again…the retirement ceremony is tomorrow. I don’t like being on stage, I don’t like giving speeches, and while I look forward to not being in the army anymore (the mileage really took a toll on me) I’m feeling nervous and bittersweet. Mostly nervous
