And we wonder why TV is so boring…

Interestingly enough, that was the premise in Fahrenheit 451 … that books were banned because of complaints by various minorities … and television became mindless, inoffensive pap.
(Well, the mindless part came true.)

“Always accuse your opponent of what you yourself are doing.” — Lib policymakers seem to live by this.

Exoticdoc2 started this conversation by accusing liberals, so your statement applies to him (and you).

Seems to me this would be the right-wing’s dream TV. Don’t righties get upset when gays are portrayed on prime time in a positive light? Remember the thunder from the right when “Maude” considered having an abortion back in the 70s? In fact, up until the late 60s all TV was “politically correct” from a conservative viewpoint. Think “Leave it to Beaver” and “Father Knows Best”.
