    I remember the episode where Speedy Gonzales races the Road Runner… with Wiley Coyoty and Sylverster trying to catch them.
    In reality, the coyote would try to eat the cat … and the roadrunner would most likely try to eat the mouse!

    @Bruno Zeigerts

    Reminds me of the old joke about not having to outrun the bear, just the slowest guy trying to get away.

    Either or what? Does Ziggy not know how to speak proper English?

    I think that ‘either’ is being used to strengthen the negative; I’ve heard this usage before somewhere, but it’s definitely not common and I don’t know the etymology

    Maybe Ziggy meant he didn’t do that ‘Either-Or’ any of the other things he told the cat he’s done.

    Have you look for “either” in a dictionary? It has more meanings and uses than the one you know.

    Either I’m mistaken or naïve, but I think Zig may be off on his grammar. Could say “…didn’t go to school with….”
    That being said, why should Ziggy have to have perfect grammar? He’s a cartoon character with a …dress?
