    Not so ancient. That was a viable choice here in Thailand until 1905. King Chulalongkorn abolished slavery partly because people were selling themselves into slavery to avoid paying taxes. Also, too, it was a very popular move, there were many abuses of slaves.

    We already are, people. Between Federal taxes, FICA, Medicare, State taxes, and bank/credit loans. Not to mention County, ans school, sewer taxes. your actual disposable income is just about gone. Talk about the old Company Store system.

    How do I find out who the U.S. has borrowed it’s money (and now has it’s/our loan debt to) from?
    I’ve heard it’s China, but I’d like to know – truthfully.
