Maybe all he wants is a phone that makes and recieves calls, and nothing else.

If someone actually made that…they’d be rich. A smart phone that is so easy a caveman can do it

A smart phone requires a smart person to use it properly… leaves me out!

go to fcc.gov , then under where it says home fcc.gov click on Do Not Call Registry. Then scroll down to national do not call registry box and click on that. Then register your phone numbers or verify that they are registered.

Ziggy is not that dumb. However I do see that his chunkie fingers would be a problem for him. But he can remedy that problem by just one button push and ask Siri to do it for him. How hard is that?

When you take pictures, you will want to send the pictures somewhere or to someone. That’s why you need to have the apps, like the internet and e-mail so that you can at least send the pictures to yourself. Pictures won’t do you much good without e-mail on the phone.

My phone doesn’t have any data plan. I take the photos, download to my COMPUTER and THEN send them. Ta and da.
And DrMoses, why on Earth would you advise Ziggy to seek the advice of Katie Holmes’ daughter? That makes no sense. I realize kids know more about these things than most adults do but still….

One way or another, you still need e-mail. Easier just to be able to e-mail from the phone.

@truecanadianIiberal – I realize that you are trying to be funny. And BTW her name is spelled SURI. My Siri is on my phone. It understands what you say. And knows what you mean.

Talk to Siri as you would to a person. Say something like “Tell my friend I’m running late” or “Remind me to call the vet.” Siri not only understands what you say, it’s smart enough to know what you mean. So when you ask “Any good burger joints around here?” Siri will reply “I found a number of burger restaurants near you.” Then you can say “Hmm. How about tacos?” Siri remembers that you just asked about restaurants,
so it will look for Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood. And Siri is proactive, so it will question you until it finds what you’re looking for.

And praytell what is the cost for having this endless source of information? You can still lose/drop/break your phone or have it stolen…
(And I wasn’t TRYING to be funny. I WAS being funny. Please endeavour to be accurate in your statements.)
