That is what has happend to my bird bath because of the 100 deg. weather we had…so Ziggy has the same problem…I’m going to get a new bird bath so my birds wont start complaining to me…

Algae is a natural process that although is not always beautiful to look at isn’t going to harm the birds like many chemicals will. It is easier to just accept the algae rinse it off occasionally when it gets bad and know that it is going to form on anything that is exposed to nature and is wet.

Ziggy might live in the south, in which case, it’s still in the 80’s and 90’s around here, still plenty of time to go in the pool for humans and birds!
