Didn’t know they even had mortgages in Nigeria; I thought all the money was tied up in the Prince’s bank account, and he needed my help to get it out of the country!

So sad to hear the news that Tom Wilson, Ziggy’s creator, had passed away. God bless his soul for giving us Ziggy. I’m glad his son is carrying on the work.

I will greatly miss Tom Sr. He was a genius. Ziggy was his creation, his child.
Every day for the past 35 years, I have been greeted by Ziggy. For countless years, I have torn off pages from his "page a day "calendars.
I have collected hundreds of greeting cards and all things Ziggy.
Tom, you definitely “did good”. Thanks for Ziggy.

Rest in Peace Tom Sr! Know your family is in our prayers, and your artwork (Carebears, Strawberry Short Cake, Ziggy etc) will never be forgotten!

Everyone who knows me knows that Ziggy was not only my favorite cartoon character but someone I (and many) could identify with. Thank you Tom Wilson Sr. for not only bringing him to us but for making him so human. My condolences to Mr. Wilson’s family and may Tom Wilson II continue to carry on the Ziggy tradition.

Now hear this Ziggy, the bell does not toll for you and do not pay that ferryman for he will not actually carry you to the land of riches in Nigeria.

Ziggy the every man and woman here.
Nigeria doesn’t royalty unless you count the generals. Better to invest in Lygeria and their infected fruit flies. (Their capital is Allenpo.)Rogue Symmetry
