    Usually the phony stuff is more believeable than the “reality” shows. I don’t know of anybody who’s been stranded on a desert island and had to eat bugs or a bachelor who’s had a chance to date a dozen beautiful girls in a couple of weeks, all the while being videotaped for display to millions of people.

    Men explaining why they watched the game and didn’t mow the yard.

    Women explaining the Master-Card bill

    Children explaining their report cards.

    Oh wait, that was done in the 50s. Guess we need some creative new minds in Hollywood.

    Phony Stuff is good. Most of the good shows in the past 50 or so years of television were phony.
