For what?
A teacher I had said that it hurt his feelings that never did anyone return to thank him for not letting them borrow the money that they would have not been able to repay, but lots of people would return and thank him for his o.k. to the bank lending them money for a good plan that they were qualified to work profitably. So, he felt so sad that people did not understand that when he said *No*, it was so that they would be able to keep their good reputation and later maybe get a loan and start a business. So, he walked away from a business job to teach those who wanted to go into business for themselves.
Maybe now, some of the people he said no to will come and thank him that he kept them from losing their shirts.
