   Hmmm, the tramp seemed to hear Cagney’s speech. I thought that in this strip, the communication was one way, the animals heard the humans but the humans didn’t hear the dogs.

    Well, I’m not so sure I want him moving into the boarding house now. He’s too possessive. Of course, he could just be lonely, too, and he would change once he made some friends.
