little house….some people hated that show. especially the opening sequence, where the kids are running in the field.

It was too icky-sweet at times. And they tried to keep that younger girl a “little girl” for far too long.

Interesting: Little House TV show had a reputation for being treacle. But the original books were anything but! Murder, revenge, bodies buried under the garden. Life in the old west was tough and the books showed that.

Did you ever read the books? Laura was the main character and most of the books took place while she was a young girl. I watched the show a couple times….. didn’t care much for it, liked the books ever so much more.
