I’m not an only child, I only have an older brother (along with three older stepsisters and two younger stepsisters; never had a bicker with the girls like the Lamberts/Fosters in “Step by Step”)..

Actually that’s not true, it gets easier, once you get the first one right. I’m the eldest of eight, and my mother raised my sister (the one after me) and me and the rest just practically raise themselves, you don’t have to entertain them, they play together and learn from their elders, I practically raise the smallest ones, plus my sister and me (we’re 15 and 14) can help with the laundry, cleaning, cooking, we do all the diaper changing, take the kiddies to music lessons, help them with school work, it’s like taking turns, it’s also like we each have one kid to take care of, practically. Since we need help with school, or the 11 year old, then one of us takes care of the children while the other studies, and so on… It’s a matter of getting used to it, and then it becomes a life form…
