Sooooo, she’s a flicker not a flinger. What was that she flung? An multidimensional bugger?

How are they going to question them because
in outer space, no one can hear you scream.

She definitely flung, but did so with a dramatic flick. No Popinjay teleportation (although I do like appreciate the George R.R. Martin reference – it surprises me how FEW people who would like the Wild Cards books have actually read them).

Note to bikini clad assassins: This is a bad time not to have the flying skateboards with you.

Oh great, another authors works to track down. How many of those was he the sole writer of? And should they be read sequentially?

George R.R. Martin (Game of Thrones) is the guiding force behind the Wild Cards books, which are a series of shared-universe novels. Each chapter (generally) concentrates on a specific character, and each character’s story pushes the larger narrative forward.

And yes, it helps a lot to read them sequentially.

That isn’t stealing. You would be surprised how many authors and filmmakers make homage to others directors and writers and artists like the late great Ray Harryhausen. But stealing it is not.

    …homage..isn’t that a fancy term for stealing?…

If she did this to wanna be assassins that did not attack her, what will Carol do to Dee Dee who did?

They did a limited comic book a few years ago with the Wild Cards characters. One of my favorite scenes was when Popinjay points at a club bouncer and makes him disappear (to the inevitable “It’s not nice to point” from the bouncer). When asked where he sent the bouncer, Jay replied, “The Donahue show. I was on it once. They deserve him.” Ha.
