    Happy Shameless-Self-Promo Weekend!!

Patriotfire: To color her isvery complicated. Yenny’s design is not as simple as Ziggy’s or Peaunts’. I’ll talk about colring her bu…her figure in the book.

Fmilling: Yeah, resembles one of those large comics that I used to do. The book will be a downloader. It’ll be available through Wowio.com and Lulu.

Awww… why isn’t the book available now? I’d buy it “tout suite”!

Why is the scaling of Yenny’s feet so variable. In this promo piece, her foot is as long as her tibia, if not longer. That would make for some interesting biomechanics when animating her.

    Dave,

As ticklish as her feet are, they must be the hardest to color. Hope the brush doesn’t tickle too much or she must kick you into next month quite often.

    @ Jetblue

I guess it varies each time she is drawn.

I don’t know if it’s meant to be this way, but usually Yenny’s feet throughout the years ARE drawn just as long as her shins and sometimes a bit longer. This is noticeable in the many pin-ups of her, and other pics showing her full body.

So I guess we can consider the standard drawing size of Yenny’s feet to be the length of her shins.

There’s only a few times I’ve seen Yenny’s feet looking smaller. The most noticeable is in the 2008 February 14 Yenny strip/ pin-up with her in a valentines day outfit… They just look a tad smaller than usual and with the size of Yenny’s feet you can definitely tell! LOL

    But anyway…

Yeah! Seeing her walk must be interesting. Yenny must have a very dramatic, but sexy, gait!

Since being bought by Platinum, Wowio is evil.

From Chris Hazleton’s wbecomic “Misfile”, 2 November 2009:

Also: BIG NEWS! This weekend I FINALLY received my check from Wowio! Assuming it doesn’t bounce, it will have been only one year and seventy six days late. I can finally stop listing it at the bottom of my rant too.

(Emphasis added by me to make clear what i’m referring to.)

¿Lo que el diablo hace usted que mira sólo en los pies de Yenny?

¿Mi Dios, los hombres, no le tienen sentido de la belleza?

Dave! Thank You very much for this great comic strip story.

I have been reading the earlier strips. Very good art and story telling. Very good?? Ha, they’re Great!!

I especially loved the trip to New York.

And thanks for the “sideways” strips. They make lovely book marks and I get great comments on them. I especially loved December 23, 2008.

Please, Please, Please - will there be more of them?

I would love to see Yenny making political comments on the “dark” side..i.e. editorials.

Dave how do you make money on a downloadable book?

I think Stephen King gave that a shot and gave it up.
