YES!!!! We most definitely knew about the joke….But I’m glad because Dave actually had her SAY that it was happening like I had hoped for in yesterday’s strip! HAHAHA!
With a little help from Yenny’s two feet they would probably get to the girls in no time!
Kinda sounds like something Barney would say at this point… LOL
Chiffi, it’s going forward on momentum. They achieved full acceleration and now are coasting. What I don’t understand is Yenny not pedalling! THunder-thighs could act as a turbo!
I’m confused: if this is Hispanic Heritage month and Yenny is appearing in Baldo (which is great because now I can see twice as much of her!), why is she with these gringos? Dave, are you trying to Latinize the Flintstones? If so, it’s long overdue. Wilma and Betty were nice, but Yenny is a tremendous improvement to the Stone Age!
Considering Yenny is from a Comic world where most everything is static from one panel to the next, I should think she’d be getting tired from all the action required by animation. Thousands of individual cells just for a few seconds of talking. It’d tire me out…
Algurka, as I pointed out in yesterday’s strip, the Flintstones have been “latinized” for ages; most latinos fondly remember Los Picapiedra, with Pedro Picapiedra (Fred) and Pablo Mármol (Barney) working for Señor Rajuela (Mr. Slate).
I reiterate that the Spanish version is funnier and a superior product than the English version, primarily because although the English version is based on the Honeymooners, the Spanish version is free from the influence of that show, so it is a more original product and has many cultural gags that are simply lacking in the English version.
Come to Villa Los Kubos beach, where 22-year-old would-be model Yenny, her iguana Zacha, and the tiny sea turtle Buke bask in the Puerto Rican sun and inspire mischief and confusion on a daily basis.

I always wondered how the rear axle stayed on when they were moving…

Their feet aren’t moving the car…I always remembered their car was pedal-powered.

If I remember correctly, they stop the car with their feet.
Let’s see if Yenny is going to help them!

Yenny’s feet should make excellent brakes!

Well mostly all vehicles in the flintstone universe are “foot powered” AND the feet double as breaks. Feet are even used to power buses!
All cars start up using the feet, proof is even in the first panel of this strip if you look closely at the bottom of fred’s car chassis…
It’s also mentioned in the theme song…
“Let’s ride with the family down the street
Through the courtesy of Fred’s two feet.”
and you can see it in action in this clip…

The cars are foot powered and stopped my friends… the resulting momentum with out using them is cruise control! LOL
