Don’t forget the “bongo drum” sound effect for running!

(Dave, I think you mean spend not expend)

Then the next thing is to pass that same house, over, and over, and over again!

LMAO… I’ve always wondered how the Flintstone characters ran around with a lack of arm movement…
Walking too!
Dave, you totally have to have a gag with Yenny asking why they’ve passed the same house in the background repeatedly! You just have too!

I wonder what will happen if Betty & Wilma meets Yenny Lopez?
(or is Yenny Lopiedras?)
cdward said, about 1 month ago
I think the are passing the same house in panel 3. Maybe Dave’s ahead of us on this one.

I notice that Fred isn’t yelling for Wilma with sexy Yenny closeby.

Doesn’t anyone else notice that they have passed the same rock in panel 1 and 3. Dave is already into the same animation joke. I to am LMAO

THAT’S how they get their arms so thick!
Seriously, I tried running like that once, and then I was all like, “why does the background next to me not repeat in a cycle like–” BONK!

I agree with cdward and marchman…i think he did that on purpose too.
I can’t imagine how they ran like that. I guess that was one of those undocumented, underappreciated discoveries of mankind when someone figured out that moving your arms helped you run faster.
Sad sideeffect of Earth-Flintstone: Yenny’s proportions are a little too modified…her thigh’s have been de-Yennied, and her feet hyper-Yennied… heh

So, Dave, getting any feedback from the Yenny arc in Baldo? Don’t know how well that much skin is going to play in some markets …
Sings-With-Spirits said, about 1 month ago
For the record, in Spanish it is not “the Flintstones” but “Los Picapiedra”. Fred is “Pedro Picapiedra”, Barney Rubble is “Pablo Mármol” and Wilma is “Vilma” with a “V” (her maiden name - Slaghoople - is “Traca” in Spanish.
I love the way Betty calls Pablo in Spanish: “Cuchi-cuchi”.
Seriously, the show is a heck of a lot funnier in Spanish.

The arms not moving while running thing , I’ve seen done in anime too .
Dracip said, about 1 month ago
They usually run by the same Cafe several times, too. Most men prefer Betty over Wilma ( and Mary Ann over Ginger), but Yenny may change that…
Herbabee said, about 1 month ago
Feh. I’m heading over to Baldo now~

@Dracip: Don’t forget that most men also preferred Bailey over Jennifer too…
