Wow… I guess dull monotony is sacred in this particular family… ;)

I wouldn’t say that monotony is sacred – it’s just that the smile is evidence that she’s enjoying something!
Now what’s the first enjoyable thing that comes to your dirty little mind?
She’s probably too young for that, or at least her dad thinks so, therefore, she must have been violated, Q.E.D.

Very true my friend… that’s one way to see it in the daughter’s case…
But I meant what I said due to the sole reaction of the dad. (Fred).
Since the family was shown to be dull and monotonous in the past strips, it must have been the normal, unbroken, way of life for them before Yenny arrived. Especially for Fred. So when Fred sees his daughter actually enjoying something like you say, she’s breaking the usual routine of monotony that Fred has presumably become accustomed to, and it’s a possibility that the rest of his family has become accustomed to this routine as well… therefore, that’s why I jokingly assumed that it must be considered “sacred” in the family according to reaction of Fred upon seeing his daughter…

kinda dull and monotonous when it is explained, too.
Leave it to Yenny to make an apron look like a teddy.

Wasn’t she in car on her way back bunch of days ago? I know it crashed but…

Colt9033:
That was Yenny’s very tall and faceless relative, Keyla. She and Kelso are(/were) driving over to pick up Yenny from the strange town she’s been stranded in.

@ Chrisnp:
LOL…Sorry my friend, but I’m afraid there’s no refund for wasted time once you’ve taking the time to read said, explanations!
Besides… I expected Yenny’s humorous situation and colorful strip to be a more of an exciting focus than the comments about her! XD
@ Colt9033
Nope, that was just Keyla and Kelso in the car on the way to get Yenny, but Kelso crashed his car due to a beautiful “distraction” given to him by Keyla… LOL

Fred’s gonna need shades to protect his eyes from all the bright cupcakes. And maybe it’ll help him turn a blind eye to his daughter’s de-flouring.

Waddayou expect from a culture where the word for pregnant is “embarazada”

Oops, looks like twins.

I looked up “embarazada” and Wikipedia has a cute story about a mistranslation of an advertisement.
But for you lazy bums who don’t want to look up what whardin1960 comment is about, “embarazada” translates literally to “embarrassed”, but is indeed used to mean “pregnant”. To my limited knowledge, there is no other way to say “pregnant” in Spanish.
Which can be quite embarrassing to be sure!

At least Fred doesn’t sound gloomy this time. Hope he catches the “Technicolor and happiness” bug. Yenny will have quite a talk to with him; she was quite an unsatisfied customer. By the way, did she forget she was hungry?

But Fred still has to get comfortable with his daughter displaying her cupcakes!

He’ll be even more thrilled when the copyright infringement attorney comes calling.
It is amazing how Yenny can make an apron look sexy.
