    Embedding an image didn’t seem to work, so here’s the date.

    Here’s a link to the date Norm!. Not one of my favorite characters but he plays his role.

    I just wish posting images were as easy here as it is on Facebook. And I had to really search the archives to find that old Norm strip. Kyle never put dates on his strips, so I had to triangulate by the nearest major holiday gag, and count in sixes from there.

    That’s the magic of having an expanded cast! Keeps us from settling in our comfort zones, so we can keep it varied. You never know what characters will become the favorites of different readers.

    It’s possible he’s so anxious because his mother didn’t like him and because of that he never felt a calming sense of security. And he could have compounded his problems by marrying a woman that is like his mother.

    He looked pretty normal in his first appearance. Now he looks like someone is trying to frazzle his last nerve. Poor guy.

    @invertedyesterday

    He’d only just been promoted. This is how he looks after he’s been on the job for awhile.
