I would rather use the Vulcan Death Grip on JJ Abrams.

I guess I’m good at accepting the changes. I’ve seen so many fan-made things that the new movies are like that to me.

The nerve pinch was used on a Dr. Who episode before Star Trek was even on the air.

WTG, Carolina. Maybe when Roy wakes up he’ll be in a better mood.

Unfortunately, there’s no such thing as a Vulcan death grip; it would only render him unconscious for a while.

I haven’t illegally downloaded a camera copy of the movie yet, so I’d rather not know what’s in it or how it ends.

@simpsonsfan2: The Vulcan death grip is fictional. (The Enterprise Incident)

But there is Tal-Shaya. (Journey to Babel.)

I loved the J J Abrams Star Trek and I’m looking forward to the next one

I’ve learned to accept that change is inevitable and that “original” is not always better

If movies were only made for existing fans there wouldn’t be enough money to be made to make it worth making the movies in the first place

I agree. I know people are saying change happens, but this isn’t change. It’s just thowing everything in the trash and doing what you want. I would have been much more impressed if he worked within the Rodenberry universe.
