    I’ve noticed that the favorite tends to be one’s “First” Doctor. (Rather like Bond)
    Certainly true in my case since I was fortunate enough to have Tom Baker as my first Doctor!

    Tom Baker is the the one that got me hooked. I guess Tom B and Liz Sladen are the Iconic images of The Doctor and his Companion.
    Mind you I liked that Oswin from ‘Assylum of the Daleks’.

    I would definitely rather be Dr. Who than president…

    awww poor guy… Roy, Matt Smith doesn’t plan on leaving for a while. You’re not going to have any chance until he decides to go! but maybe you could be a villain or companion! that reminds me… new episode tonight.

    my favorite companions are Ace, Adric, Rory, Sarah-Jane, Leela and Romana. I don’t have a favorite Doctor, but I do have one that I find hard to watch- six. good god, the headache!! all those colors! favorite villains: Daleks (but not the new “Power Daleks”), The Master, and the Black Guardian. Keys of Time was an excellent arc in my opinion, and I liked that he was traveling with another timelord.

    @johnzakour

    Who is this Dr? I have never heard of him. I know a lot of Dr’s but they all have regular names and I call on them all too frequently. If I called for an appointment with a Dr Who, I would be getting: “who?…which Dr did you want?…who you say?…what are you trying to say?…I am hanging up now lady…call back when you know who you want to see.” I would be saying: “Exactly!… Dr Who!” to a dial tone…

    I liked the Pat Troughton & Jon Pertwee doctors. And the very first Master—-the late, great Roger Delgado. Though the later doctors have been very good with the reboot.

    Nissa, Leela(sp) were my favorites. Tom Baker got me hooked too, didn’t care for Pertwee, Troughton, or some of the newer ones.
