   Motivation = Paycheck. Also, anyone that you make fear you will grow to hate you and will do what ever they need to do to protect themselves. That may be anything from making you look bad to the extreme of murder. So it is always better to lead people than drive them.

   i’m no vp, but i am a supervisor at my job, and there are days i’m awfully tempted to use something like a whip to get a little productivity out of my crew . . .

    If you notice at the tip of the whip are metal stars. Those would cut flesh very easily and you be sliced up bloody wishing for death.
