That is really harsh an short sighted. Good thing it makes for a funny joke. Otherwise it would be sad.

Back in January, I went to a training program and it turned out that all the Android phone users were on one side of the room and all the iPhone users were on the other (my) side.

I like the iPhones and iPads I’ve had a chance to play with, and when my Android phone’s eligible for upgrade this summer, I’ll consider an iPhone… but there’s a good chance I’ll end up with another Android superphone; it’ll just come down to getting more hardware for less money.

I’ve gotten accustomed to typing with my thumbs on a Blackberry…I’m not typist anyway, so it goes like it goes. I do now have an iPod Touch, but I still can’t get comfortable with the onscreen keyboard idea. We can’t all like everything.

She’s wrong – my wife has an iPhone. Our daughter and I don’t hold it against her. :) Horses for courses I say, does what she wants but not what I want. Android forever – or at least until something better comes along. :)

Go Android, I like the freedom of custom ROM’s and the ability to change pretty much everything on the phone. I don’t need iTunes, I deleted the stock music player and replaced it with a better one. I deleted the stock SMS and replaced that. Oh the possibilities.

I’m not trashing iOS products. I just know that I can do all of that stuff with Android easily. I’m not familiar with iOS products. I just know I got an Android phone for $0.01.

my land line works fine for making calls, my tv works great for watching movies (the screen is big enough to actully see the picture… imagine that!) my pcs can do anything I need to do on line… why should I get one product to combime these things when it would only be equal or worse quality? So I can type while driving my car? No thanks. So people can reach (bother) me anywhere at anytime? Again No Thanks!

I do believe that life was much simpler when there were no Cell phones. You could get away from everyone by just leaving you house. Now you can’t a direct line to you is everywhere!

We’ve kidded ourselves for generations that we could live in the ‘future.’ But we can’t. By its very nature, the future never comes. In 1100 AD even 1492 was the future. We confused the future with ‘The Fuuutuuurrrre!!!!!" (Big announcer voice.) So we have all kinds of toys and think we’re so close to being the Jetsons that we can taste it. But it’s still the present- just a more complicated one.
