Working Daze follows the employees trapped at MacroMicroMedia. MMM is a wanna-be software giant, and it's staffed by geeks and clueless management types. VP Rita will try anything that might make a little money (though her ideas usually don't.) Underpaid Dana carries he place and keeps it running, while overpaid Ed sleeps all day. Roy and Kathy are made for each other, and everyman Jay never knows when to keep his opinions to himself. Writer/creator John Zakour is a humor/sci-fi writer, whose work includes the Zach Johnson detective novels. Artist Scott Roberts was a longtime contributor to Nickelodeon Magazine, and is the author of the fantasy novel The Troubling Stone. John and Scott met when they both worked on the Rugrats newspaper strip.

Don’t let Roy find out that they are canceling Eureka on the SyFy channel…it would tear him apart.

I won’t watch it or the current Dr Who cause I don’t want cable.

News from this side of the pond is that elements at the BBC are trying to destroy Dr Who with cutbacks so they can waste money on programmes that people don’t want. About par for the course with the Beeb. They should beware of destroying the goose that laid the golden eggs as the Beeb produces stuff far superior to the dross that Sky shows.

stupid conservative party. cutbacks really? cutbacks led to the riots in london, having fox news hacking in to cell phones, and the economy still struggling. david cameron this is all your fault.

And nobody chose to pick up “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. There is no justice!
(Apparently no justice in Britain either, where the cops have been letting rampaging louts burn down neighborhoods. So the best argument for the welfare state is that it keeps the mobs content? Shame!)

I liked when BBCA picked up the Tudors from the expensive Channel I refuse to pay, but they only had 2 seasons and now just reruns- I’d watch in spite of all the flaws, but not by paying extra.

Well, when it was on BBC, I could also order it online. Now that it’s on Starz, I can’t get it on Amazon.com, Playstation network, or even iTunes. So haven’t seen it.

John knows the hot button issues. Unfortunately, television networks, broadcast cable or otherwise, don’t really care about the viewers. But you already knew that…the networks just don’t know that you know.

Yeah, bad enough when my cable company moved BBC America to a different tier making me subscribe to that tier for just that one channel.
At least I had BBC America for more than just one show…not going to add Starz just because of one show….again.
Though haven’t decided if I’m going to keep streaming when Netflix makes it separate….perhaps I’ll just have to wait until I finally get a blu-ray player…

Cable companies are evil overlords, and Roy knows this.

Can’t wait for the new Torchwood season to hit BBC. For a couple of months before summer, I watched reruns of the first and second seasons.

tv show eureka’s gone :(

I dunno. Better to have the show on a different channel, than no show at all. That’d be like not watching Primeveal because of all the noobs.

I catch Torchwood online. Used to watch Dr.Who but BBC keeps blocking it on YOUTUBE claiming copyright violations.
