His dragon looks so cute curled into a ball on the rug at the Wiz’s feet.
Besides his dragon solves the other cat noises in the middle of the night — raccoons and opossums too I’m guessing

Probably doesn’t have any problems with dogs, either. Or burglars.

From what I’ve heard, I think even a dragon would
think twice about tangling with a raccoon.

    Possums don’t make much noise
    Sometimes a low hissss
    Cute little critters.

Unless you really annoy it (as my cat used to): It may turn around and do a growling-thing. The can would follow it down the road and thru the wooded area. I was waiting for the cat to come home with a bloodied nose.

Then let him go….he really isn’t mean to be a pet.

My dog cornered a possum in the backyard a few years back (properly spelled “opossum” but that just sounds so weird)

I tried poking it with a stick to scare it off, but I forgot possums go into their “playing dead” routine, so it wouldn’t budge. Turns out that’s a purely involuntary reflex, they can’t help themselves.

I ended up grabbing it by its tail and placing out in front. I didn’t see it the next day, so I assume it eventually woke up and left for greener, less dog-filled, pastures.

Kid Sister says skunks hate the smell of mothballs; it’s a humane way to chase them away. She “moved” a skunk from under her house with no spraying from Pepe & family.
