I saw two people riding motorcycles yesterday
in 37 degree weather which is just as dumb as
    what Wiz did.

why you say that? That is 5 degrees over a frozen road.
I am good down to 30 in the sun.

Here there’s still about four inches of snow on the ground, and it’s frozen solid.

….and how did the Wiz find that wee white ball in all that snow;besides having to shoot it toward a hole that he ALSO can not see? Aye now there’s what I’d call a REAL handicap.

Even better: How about golfing in northern Iceland?
It even stops snowing there from about May through September.

True story: The Chinese are trying to buy a huge farm there
to build a “golf course and resort” for wealthy “businessmen”
who want “peace and quiet”. That’s right on the Arctic Circle.

Having a strategic location in the North Sea oil fileds and
the Arctic Ocean shipping lanes (it will only be a few more
years before global warming melts the Arctic sea ice completely),
has absolutely nothing to do with it. Right!

I dont have much option as my only means of transport is a motorcycle. Went to work yesterday, temperature 0c -32f, snow still scattered about but i had no problems though I lost the feeling in my fingertips after five miles. Luckily I only have to go thirteen miles.

You use a red ball in the snow… what’s wrong with winter golf in Scotland?… I’ve played at least once every week so far, despite the east wind.

Riding to work on day it started to rain after I got here a co-worker said “You can ride in the rain?” I responded with “Yeah they make them water proof these days”

Then I went on to show them that some bikes can actually ride on ice with no danger, there is ice bike racing that is done.

If you dress warm enough you don’t really ever get cold, at least I don’t.

What’s dumb about it? It was 34 this morning and I was riding to work just fine.
