   Aye it would be a fate of justice to have the Fink lost for all eternity in that maze staircase,but I’d not wish that fate on poor Rodney,let alone being stuck with the Fink for that very same eternity.

    Google “Escher” – you will find he is (or was) an artist who specialized in optical illusion type paintings, with stairs that seemed to go somewhere, but actually didn’t and other dream-like illusions. There are examples of his paintings to look at.
