The Wizard of Id has been enchanting audiences since 1964, but the real wizards behind this comic classic were artist Brant Parker and writer Johnny Hart.
The pair began paving the path to the Kingdom of Id in 1950, when Parker, a staff artist for the Binghamton Press in upstate New York, was asked to judge a high school art contest. Among the entrants was a teenager by the name of Johnny Hart, whose work so impressed Parker that he arranged a meeting.

Considering that your average manhole cover weighs in at over 100 pounds that’s quite the throwing arm the Wiz has.

@Alexikakos
Probably uses an oversized trap-thrower.

Wonder how Henry would do in the discus event.

Be Aware that Henry Collects manhole covers. Which is WAY better than collecting the man himself,as I’m sure Rodney will agree.

Who needs a good throwing arm when you are a wizard with a working magic wand?

I’ve always thought real men use manhole covers. Haha…
