    Considering they had a modern military vessel complete with rifled guns some months ago, why not use some of that for their land forces?

    They also have logistics and diplomacy. Id certainly lacks logistics and their king is as undiplomatic as they come.

    For those interested, strategic, tactical, logistic and diplomatic skill sets are linked to temperament…

    Also wrong. Only someone who thinks his way and only his way of looking at a problem is the correct one would make such a mistake. You need all four skill sets to win a war and then to win the peace. And you’d better hope you have “professionals” in all four slots in the process.
