The Wizard of Id has been enchanting audiences since 1964, but the real wizards behind this comic classic were artist Brant Parker and writer Johnny Hart.
The pair began paving the path to the Kingdom of Id in 1950, when Parker, a staff artist for the Binghamton Press in upstate New York, was asked to judge a high school art contest. Among the entrants was a teenager by the name of Johnny Hart, whose work so impressed Parker that he arranged a meeting.

Suing someone for everything they have is the fastest way to turn them into a criminal. Does anyone really think you can take someone away from someone they have worked their whole lives for and they are just going to continue the status quo and start over?
Every convict I have ever interviewed who used to be successful started their life of crime because of this. there are however plenty of criminals who never even got successful in the first place, they are the dumb ones…the ones who were successful are much harder to catch.

Shirley, you can’t be serious . . . getting sued turns you into a burglar?
Keith said, 10 months ago
These lawyers turn into politicians and selectively enforce laws that suit their ends (and those who finance them). Everybody knows that but still votes for them anyway.

No, she (s)he said losing everything you’ve earned to a shyster turns you into a criminal. May or may not be burglary.

Isn’t the pesant in panel three supposed to be the neighbor? Why does he look identical to the peasant in panel one?
Redkaycei Repoc said, 10 months ago
@JP Steve
I think it is the first peasent, the ‘neighbor’ in question turns out to be ithe lawyer with his own sign in his yard
Redkaycei Repoc said, 10 months ago
@Redkaycei Repoc
Or at least the nieghbor in question might just be a person with the lawyers sign in his yard and isn’t in the strip
