The Wizard of Id has been enchanting audiences since 1964, but the real wizards behind this comic classic were artist Brant Parker and writer Johnny Hart.
The pair began paving the path to the Kingdom of Id in 1950, when Parker, a staff artist for the Binghamton Press in upstate New York, was asked to judge a high school art contest. Among the entrants was a teenager by the name of Johnny Hart, whose work so impressed Parker that he arranged a meeting.

Simply put a spoon full of sugar in your mouth and let it dissolve.
Works every time!

Good luck on collecting that $50.00
BigChiefDesoto said, 11 months ago
That’ll be fifty bucks if you pay in cash.
Or five hundred if you have Obamacare and I have to spend forty hours of my time filling out government forms!!!

I, as a long standing Republican (before Shrub the Moron) actually contributed several hundred dollars to Obama’s campaign because I thought he was going to propose a single payer health care system much like Taiwan has. And what did we get? MORE DAMNFOOL SCREWED UP GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS that, as Nancy Pelosi said, “We have to vote for this so we will find out what is in this bill.”
GAWDS what a bunch of idiots!!!!!

One time when I had the hiccups a woman said to me, “Just think of the one you love the most.” Oddly enough…it worked!

Oddly enough, I as a long standing Republican (before Reagan the trickle-down economics voodoo witch doctor) voted for Obama for the same reason. The Congress has been putting up walls against pretty much anything the President proposes and keeping the country in a flaming depression.
Think we might get better some time? Good luck with that.

Here’s to Obamacare. Long may his name resound among all the grateful. The Reeps again have shot themselves in both feet and made their opponents look like angels. Funny how hate is.

On that cold day in Hell (we’ll all be watching breathlessly from down below), the U.S. might just join the rest of the civilised world.

The bars aren’t open yet, we’re still hungover from yesterday’s dose of life in the good old American cauldron.

Single payer exists and works well in the rest of the civilised world, but this is the U.S., and single payer is pie in the sky until a beginning is made somewhere.
It might happen here, too, but it would be long after we have returned to dust.
At least those who have nothing will have something with Obamacare
