    I’m a maverick (Ford had a tradition in the early 1970s of naming cars for horses, including the Maverick) myself.

    The only Ford horse-named vehicle left is the Mustang (1965-present – the ’64-1/2 was legally a ’65). The others on the American market were:
    Bronco (1966-91)
    Maverick (1971-77)
    Pinto (1971-80)
