The pair began paving the path to the Kingdom of Id in 1950, when Parker, a staff artist for the Binghamton Press in upstate New York, was asked to judge a high school art contest. Among the entrants was a teenager by the name of Johnny Hart, whose work so impressed Parker that he arranged a meeting.

Don’t worry, there’s no trap door in the platform.

Letting him live and working for you would be punishment enough Fink!

Not if the King gets all the others, it won’t. And we already know how much of a monomaniac he is.
King Fink: Agent of Unnatural Selection. :))

hmm … I wonder if the judge would fall for that one

There’d be even less competition for the criminals if King Fink were gone.

The Fink is the biggest criminal of all. Some day it’ll be his head in the noose.

Sounds just like a politician losing an election. Spin it so it’s really good, or at worst harmless.

The worst criminal in the Kingdom of Id is the King himself.
The Fink, er uh King, has no neck. His head is attached to his spine at the shoulders.
It’s amusing that the subjects of Id are afraid of a runt whose height is that of a 2-year-old.

I didn’t know that!!!!
(And I didn’t WANT to know that, either!!)

That gallows is too small for the crook. Just the right size for the Fink, though.

My all time favorite Wizard strip was from over 40 years ago. Two peasants are standing on the road and one says to the other,”The people in England are called Englishman and the people in France are called Frenchman.” The other replies,”I wonder what we are called?” Rodney comes up to them and says, “Move along you Idiots!”
