    How does he draw lines on that lake surface?

    @Rad-ish

    He’s obviously a monk with great powers: note that he’s standing on the water. Those of us who remember Shogun (not the TV series, the actual Shogun) know that Japanese gardeners have ALWAYS been able to do this.

    I tried to make a Zen garden once, but all my rocks died.

    @Mr King

    Why did the The Office of Cosmic Energy desk sink but not the man with the rake?

    @Mr King

    I don’t like to explain a joke, however;
    I have moved a lot of desks in my day, and wired them for computers and electricity and looking at that desk the way it was drawn, the knee hole is half missing, also there are no legs on the desk.
    .
    Now maybe the artist just drew it that way, but if you look at the perspective, the man in the chair has his behind on the ground, his leg room is missing.
    .
    At first I was joking but now I do believe it is water and the other guy is walking on it.
    But the cartoon is from Germany so who knows what the heck its really about, I would guess spirituality vs a desk job.
