   Saw a documentary once about how they build the pyramids. Major logistical feat! Although the workers were mostly slaves you still had to feed them, water them, cloth them, rest them, count them, put them to the right work at the right time in the construction and so on. The pyramids themselves are engineering marvels – and they didn’t always get it right first time around, there are collapsed pyramids to be found. But what can you expect from a civilization that hadn’t invented the decimal point by that time…

   Ima, there are natural formations that resemble pyramids, it is one of those natural shapes, like cubes and spheres and spirals. Some crystals naturally grow as pyramids. Also, it is a solid shape for people building things to come up with, and if you refer to the pyramids in Meso America, they came much later than those in Egypt.
